Top-notch, mid western defense attorney, KYLE MARTIN, retires early as he and his wife, LORINDA, try to deal with the murder of their oldest of two daughters, TERRI-LYNN. They try to cope by moving from suburbia to rural territory and “start-over,” as farmers. Through a series of bizarre coincidences, Kyle is pulled back into the limelight as an attorney and investigator and eventually comes face to face with his daughters murderer.

College senior, science major, MARK GLEASON sidelines his longtime girlfriend MELANIE when he believes fate has introduced him to his “fantasy girl,” a sexy blond named HILARY. After a quick “connection,” Mark questions the situation as Hilary eerily and “coincidentally” appears wherever Mark is at. He does a little research and learns things don’t add up. Mark quickly removes himself from the situation and attempts to mend his relationship with Melanie. When Melanie is found unconscious at the bottom of a ravine near a popular lovers hangout, Mark is primary suspect and taken into custody. All evidence points to Mark and very few believe in his innocence. It’s up to Mark to come to his own defense and work beyond his attorney’s lackadaisical efforts and find out who and where this mystery girl Hilary came from.

Mr. Delgado looks deadly... Menacing. You sense he's menacing...you believe he's menacing... shaking in your boots menacing. All up until he's says to his arresting officers with a sturdy lisp, "Is the regular or decaf?? It better be decaf, else I swear, I'll be up all night... Are you sure this is decaf? If it's not, I'll call you fellas all night long-- I will you know." Yes, he's a bit paranoid. Yes he calls the cops every two hours to patrol his shoe store, but hey, he's got a heart of gold and the insight of a fortune teller. He might have something to offer everyone.
